An incredible vintage starburst wall clock, made by Elgin in Illinois, United States in the 1960s.
This particular piece features gold starburst/sunburst peaks, with a gold clock face. Numbers and hands appear in black. The bursts are in great condition with no damages that we can see. There is some patina and light discolouration on the face, as per the images.
We have had a new mechanism installed by our reputable clock repairer.
It measures approx 60cm (24") in diameter overall.
Based on our research this piece dates back to the 1960s (the company, Elgin, closed its doors in 1968).
