Potter, designer, and author Jonathan Adler launched his namesake brand after leaving his day job to pursue his first true love: pottery. His talent for blending traditional craftsmanship with a highly modern aesthetic quickly caught the attention of the high-end design world. In 1993, Barneys New York purchased his debut collection of pots, and just five years later, he opened his very first flagship boutique in Manhattan’s Soho district.

Today, the brand has evolved into a comprehensive design house celebrated for its signature aesthetic of bold, irreverent luxury. The collections are recognisable for their energy, vibrant colours, premium materials, and playful motifs. Despite this massive global expansion, which now includes retail locations worldwide, the brand remains firmly rooted in its artisanal beginnings, with every single piece still conceived and created in Adler’s Soho studio.
