Faceted art glass block vases were produced by many manufacturers on the island of Murano, Italy, with the most popular and well-known being Mandruzzato.
Whilst the company is well-known for their exquisite pieces of highly sought after glass, they are by no means the only company that delivered such incredible pieces.
Other companies that have produced glassware in this faceted style include Campanella, V. Nason, Formia, Bucella Cristalli, Vetri Molati, Cesare Toso, Gianni Seguso and Oball, just to name a few.
Most if not all of these faceted art glass block vases feature a layered colour submerged effect, known as as 'sommerso' (the Italian word for submerged), which was made famous on the island of Murano itself.

More about V. Nason & C.
Vincenzo Nason established his glassworks, Vincenzo Nason & Cie (VNC) on the island of Murano, Venice, Italy in 1967, after having previously worked at Venini. The name was changed to V. Nason & C. in 1989.
V Nason & C are probably best known for their 'Avventurina' range, black glass filled with copper aventurine inclusions. They also produced many sculptures of animals and birds, as well as opaline glass which often bore labels reading 'Veritable Opaline de Murano' or 'Veritable Opaline de Venise', both labels included a red wax seal style 'N' for Nason.
The company is believed to have closed sometime around 2001.

For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
