Company Kaiser Porzellan

Kaiser Porzellan was established in 1872 by August Alboth as a small porcelain decoration business in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany. His son, Ernst Alboth, later transitioned the firm into a full-scale manufacturing factory by relocating the operations to Kronach in 1899. Following a merger of the Alboth and Kaiser families, the firm updated its trade name to "Alka-Kunst" in 1927 before constructing a new, mass-production factory in Bad Staffelstein during 1953.

Formally renamed Kaiser-Porzellanmanufaktur shortly before 1970 to leverage global export markets, the company earned an international reputation for high-quality, fine-cast white matte bisque porcelain wares, iconic mid-century modern "Op Art" textured relief vases, and intricately hand-painted collectible wildlife figurines.
