Bessemer is an iconic Australian brand and as well as producing a range of sturdy kitchenware such as pots and pans, they also produced a fashionable range of melamine plastic ware.

This fabulous set is part of the 'Quartic' range, designed by industrial designer Lionel Suttie, circa early 1970s. Featured in the 'Sunshine Yellow' colour-way, it includes one large punch bowl, six cups and a serving ladle.

This set is in excellent condition and we would question if it has ever been used, as it retains its original vintage packaging.

The bowl measures approx 13cm tall x 29cm wide, cups 7cm tall x 7.5cm wide, ladle 31cm long.

This particular piece was designed by Australian industrial designer Lionel Suttie, who was a designer and lecturer at RMIT University in Melbourne, Victoria. Suttie designed a number of pieces exclusively for Bessemer (part of the Nylex group) in the 1970s.
