We're Stan and David, and we're the guys behind your favourite store, That Retro Piece.

That Retro Piece was born out of a love of vintage treasures, mid-century design and curated collections.

We're both avid collectors of many pre-loved and secondhand items, most which we have acquired over many years. Our favourites include sculptured Italian ceramics, starburst wall clocks, Scandinavian glassware, classic mid-century furniture and of course, vintage Pyrex.

That Retro Piece has been providing customers with an online customer experience since 2012; sourcing vintage home décor and homewares for people across the globe. We're experts at what we do - everything from sourcing quality products right through to outstanding packing skills.

In early 2021 we opened our first bricks-and-mortar retail store which is also in Sydney's Inner West, in the beautiful village of Summer Hill. 

Late 2022 saw us relocate to the Inner West suburb of Newtown. Positioned at the northern end of King Street, our showroom is bigger and brighter than ever, allowing us to showcase our products even better than before.

It's been an exciting journey so far and we're super thrilled we get to share it with such a loyal customer base and incredible community.
