Introducing a pair of exquisite vintage 6.5" Chinese temple foo (fu) dogs. These magnificent figurines are crafted with precision, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of ancient China.
The temple foo dogs are believed to be mythical creatures that serve as protectors of sacred places, such as temples and palaces. Each of these figurines is intricately detailed, showcasing the traditional Chinese lion-dog design, with a majestic mane and fierce expression that exudes strength and power.
These are made from high-quality ceramic and feature a beautifully sculptured design that adds to their authenticity and charm. They stand proudly on a sturdy base, with their paws placed firmly on the ground, symbolising their protective role.
Whether you're a collector of Asian art, a lover of vintage decor, or simply looking for a unique piece to add to your home or office, these are sure to make a statement. They are perfect for display on a bookshelf, mantel, or coffee table and will add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space.
Measuring approx 16cm (6.5") tall and 6.5cm wide; they're both in excellent condition with no wear that we can see.
