Oball Glass - full company name Vetreria Artistica Oball - was founded in 1978 on the island of Murano, Venice, Italy, by Luigi Onesto.
Onesto had previously worked at Gambaro & Poggi, since the age of 15. He was later joined at the Oball factory by his sons, Fabio and Michele.
The company are best known for their very impressive, multi-layered sommerso vases, bottles and other objects.
