Baldelli ceramics have been made by Ceramiche Baldelli in Città di Castello, near Perugia, Italy, since 1943.
The Baldelli family have been making ceramics for four generations; ceramist Dante Baldelli, a ceramist working since the 1920s, became the director of Ceramica Rometti di Umbertide, opened his own workshop in 1943.
His oldest son Massimo, took over the business at the unexpected death of his father in 1953, aged eighteen.
THIS LISTING
A fabulous ceramic table lamp in a horizontal striped blue and green decor, circa 1960s. Incredibly the lamp base still has its BALDELLI ITALY label still intact.
It has been paired with a hand-made lamp shade made out of vintage fabric, courtesy of our friends at Retrotastik.
The lamp base is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or any other flaws to mention. Please note the lamp shade may have some inconsistencies in the pattern and fabric itself being vintage, however it is free from damage.
This beauty measures approx 54cm tall including the shade, 22cm tall not including the shade or light fixture, and 10.5cm diameter.
It has been professionally rewired with a new cable to meet Australian electrical standards. Essentially, it's all ready to go!

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
