A gorgeous example of Japanese glass. This style, often referred to as a handkerchief bowl, can be found in a variety of colours. 

Whilst we know this piece was made in Japan simply by the style of glass, we're yet to identify the manufacturer - although it is possible that it was made by Iwatsu Glass Co, from their Hineri range.
