An incredible vintage starburst wall clock, made by Urgos in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany in the 1960s.
This particular piece features (what we believe to be) teak starburst/sunburst peaks, with a teak and silver band clock face. Numbers and hands appear in brass. We have had the original clock mechanism replaced with a new Quartz movement, installed by a local reputable clock repairer.
We can't see any major wear, just a couple of normal scuffs. The teak bursts are in great vintage condition with no major damages. One starburst has a small repair, as per the picture, which is barely noticeable. There is some light patina on the brass, as expected and commensurate with age.
It measures approx 16.5cm wide (clock face only), and 55cm (21.5") in diameter overall.
Based on our research this piece dates back to the 1960s.
