British Overseas Airways Corporation 'Douglas DC3' Model Plane on Stand

$250.00 AUD

British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) was the British state airline created in 1940, from the merger of Imperial Airways and British Airways Ltd, later renamed British Airways (in 1974).

This model plane, made from what we believe to be nickel, was a model of the Douglas DC3 aircraft used by BOAC from 1941, post war.

This beauty is in great to excellent condition; the plane is mounted on a stand with a movable ball-bearing allowing you to position the aircraft at various angles.

Truly a collectors piece for lovers of the aviation industry!

Please note: we do not believe this model to be vintage (20+ years)... mentioned for accuracy!
