Le Riihimaki La verrerie a été fondée en 1910 à Riihimaki, en Finlande, par M.A. Kolehmainen et son fils, A.P. Kolehmainen. Au début, ils produisaient du verre domestique et du verre d'emballage, puis se sont lancés dans la fabrication de bouteilles et de verre à vitre en 1919.
Riihimaki est devenue la plus grande usine de verre de Finlande après avoir acheté la verrerie de Kaukalahti en 1927. L'entreprise a été rebaptisée Riihimaen Lasi Oy en 1937 et Aimo Okkolin a commencé à concevoir pour Riihimaki la même année.
Helena Tynell a rejoint Riihimaki en 1949, suivie de Nanny Still en 1949 et de Tamara Aladin en 1959. Ensemble, ces quatre-là ont été les principaux designers de Riihimaki au cours des 20 années suivantes et ont produit un grand nombre de modèles populaires que l'on peut encore facilement trouver aujourd'hui.

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
