La verrerie de Harrach / Harrachov doit son nom à Alois Raimund von Harrach, dont le domaine en Bohême fut fondé en 1712. Peu après, Elias Müller reçut du comte Harrach l'autorisation d'exploiter la verrerie. L'usine fut rebaptisée Neuwelter Hutte et, peu après, la région devint la ville de Harrachov.
En 1764, la fabrique fut rebaptisée Graflich Harrach'sche Glasfabrik . Aujourd'hui, on l'appelle généralement Harrach pour désigner des pièces victoriennes ou antérieures, et Harrachov pour les productions du milieu du siècle ou ultérieures.
Harrachov a été nationalisé en 1948 et est devenu une partie de Železnobrodské Sklo , puis transféré à Borske Sklo (1958), puis à Crystalex (1974).
Les designers de l'usine au cours de la période clé du milieu du siècle comprenaient Frantisek Koudelka (1930-92), Milan Metelák (1928-93), Milena Velíšková (1917-) et Maria Stahlikova (1922-).
La verrerie de Harrachov est toujours en production aujourd'hui, désormais connue sous le nom de Sklarna Novosad & Syn Bohemia Harrachov .

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
