One of Japan's most recognised manufacturers of mid-century glass is Sanyu Glass (full name Sanyu Glass Factory Ltd), a company who produced an outstanding amount of art glass, based in Osaka, Japan.
The company have been manufacturing glass from as early as the 1950s, prolific in the 1960s and 1970s with a fantastic range of vases, centrepieces and art pieces, found in a variety of styles.
Those bound for the export market can predominantly be found with the Sanyu Glass branding (black on silver foil labels), while those found domestically in Japan are mostly seen with the Narumi Fantasy Glass branding (red and black on gold foil labels).

Condition This piece in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or major scratches. There are a couple small nicks - one on the side and one on the base - minimal and can be barely seen, but mentioning for accuracy.
