Las kokeshi son muñecas japonesas de madera que se elaboran desde hace más de 150 años como juguete para niños y son originarias de la región noreste de Japón.
Están hechas a mano con madera, predominantemente de cerezo o mizuki, y tienen un tronco y una cabeza sencillos con unas finas líneas pintadas que definen el rostro. Al estilo tradicional de las kokeshi, carecen de brazos y piernas.
El patrón del cuerpo puede variar, a veces con diseños florales y otras veces con diseños de anillos, en su mayoría pintados con tintas rojas, negras y amarillas y luego cubiertos con una capa de cera.

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
