La fábrica Strömberg se fundó en Suecia en 1876, originalmente con el nombre de Lindfors . En 1933, Edward Strömberg, quien anteriormente dirigía Orrefors y posteriormente la cristalería Eda , la adquirió y cambió el nombre a Strömbergshyttan («cabaña de Strömberg» o «cabaña»).
Edward trabajó con su esposa Gerda (una diseñadora) y otros que los siguieron desde Eda , incluido Knut Bergqvist, quien se convirtió en el maestro soplador de vidrio allí entre 1933 y 1955.
También trabajaba en la fábrica el hijo de Edward y Gerda, Eric, quien asumió el mando de la empresa tras el fallecimiento de Edward en 1945, con su esposa Asta como diseñadora. Otros diseñadores clave fueron Gunnar Nylund (1952-1975) y Rune Strand en la década de 1960.

Estado: Excelente a excelente, sin desgaste significativo apreciable. Presenta ligeras rozaduras en la base, propias de su antigüedad.

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
