La cristalería Harrach/Harrachov recibe su nombre de Alois Raimund von Harrach, en cuya finca se fundó en Bohemia en 1712. Poco después, Elias Muller recibió permiso del conde Harrach para operar la cristalería. La fábrica pasó a llamarse Neuwelter Hütte y, poco después, la zona se convirtió en la ciudad de Harrachov.
En 1764, la fábrica pasó a llamarse Graflich Harrach'sche Glasfabrik . Actualmente, se suele hablar de ella como Harrach para las piezas victorianas o anteriores, y como Harrachov para la producción de mediados de siglo o posterior.
Harrachov fue nacionalizado en 1948 y pasó a formar parte de Železnobrodské Sklo , y luego fue trasladado a Borske Sklo (1958) y luego a Crystalex (1974).
Los diseñadores de la fábrica durante el período clave de mediados de siglo incluyeron a Frantisek Koudelka (1930-92), Milan Metelák (1928-93), Milena Velíšková (1917-) y Maria Stahlikova (1922-).
La fábrica de vidrio de Harrachov todavía está en producción y ahora se conoce como Sklarna Novosad & Syn Bohemia Harrachov .

Condición En excelente estado, sin desgaste significativo apreciable. Presenta algunos ligeros arañazos superficiales, pero mínimos. Presenta un intenso brillo de uranio, como se ve en las fotos.

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
