Fantástica figura de mujer africana, realizada al estilo del diseñador austriaco Karl Hagenauer.
Mide aproximadamente 33 cm (13") de alto. Está hecha de bronce y latón, con detalles dorados pintados. Se encuentra en excelentes condiciones.
Internamente se oye algo temblar, aunque no parece haber un punto de entrada, por lo que probablemente se deba al proceso de fabricación.
Probablemente fabricado en los años 1960/70.
Karl Hagenauer fue un diseñador austriaco conocido por sus esculturas Art Déco. Inspirado a menudo por el arte africano, Hagenauer exploró una estética similar a la de las primeras pinturas cubistas de Pablo Picasso, también influenciadas por máscaras y figurillas norteafricanas.
Las obras de Hagenauer están compuestas de latón o madera para representar animales estilizados, atletas, criaturas míticas y celebridades de su tiempo, entre las que se incluye la famosa artista estadounidense Josephine Baker.
Algunas de estas obras también funcionaban como objetos domésticos utilitarios de alta gama, como candelabros, sacacorchos, ceniceros y cortadores de puros.

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
