Nacido en la ciudad de Natal, al noreste de Brasil, Abraham Palatnik se mudó a Israel de niño. Allí estudió mecánica y física y desarrolló las cualidades típicas de un inventor.
A finales de la década de 1940 inició estudios en el campo de la luz y el movimiento, que dieron como resultado el Aparelho Cinecromático , expuesto en 1951 en la 1ª Bienal Internacional de São Paulo , donde recibió una mención honorífica del jurado internacional.
A partir de 1964, desarrolla los Objetos Cinéticos , una evolución del cinecromático, que muestra el mecanismo interno de funcionamiento y suprime la proyección de la luz. El rigor matemático es una constante en su obra, actuando como un recurso importante para la ordenación espacial. Es considerado internacionalmente uno de los pioneros del arte cinético.

Orders are dispatched within Australia Post via Standard Post. If you require Express Post, please make contact and a quote can be provided.
For most items shipped via Standard Post, shipping is capped at $20 for under 5kg and $30 for greater than 5kg. Shipping for larger items like lamps will vary between $50-$60. Extra larger items such as wall sculptures will vary again.
