One of Japan's manufacturers of mid-century glass that is not as well-known that some of the others is Kurata Glass, a company who produced a smaller amount of incredible art glass pieces, but still predominantly focused on the Western export market.
Often produced under the name Kurata Craft Glass, the name was a brand used by Japanese glass manufacturer Joetsu Crystal Glass Company, of the Joetsu region.
A gorgeous vase, in an incredible multi-coloured combination of chartreuse, purple and red - giving out a mix of colours as they cross.
