An incredible vintage starburst wall clock, made by AVIA in Swtizerland.
This particular piece features a faux wood finish on metal bursts around the entire clock. All are in excellent condition, with very little surface wear.
The clock face features a brass face, with black numbers and gold hands.
The mechanism has been replaced by our local and reputable clock repairer with a new Quartz movement.
It measures approx 28cm (11") in diameter.
Overall we can't see any major wear, just a couple of normal scuffs. There is some light patina on the brass, as expected with age. There are some light marks under the glass on the surface of the face, but minor and can't really be seen until you're looking up close.
Based on our research this clock dates to the 1960s/70s.
