An incredible vintage starburst wall clock in the 'Grandeur' design, made by Seth Thomas in Dunbarton, Scotland.
The Grandeur model was one of a series of stunning mid-century wall clocks released by the company in 1966.
This particular piece features teak square bursts positioned along brass spikes. All wooden teak squares are in excellent condition, with only a small amount of surface wear.
The clock face features a classic Seth Thomas face, with black numbers and black hands. The mechanism has been replaced by our local and reputable clock repairer with a new Quartz movement.
Overall we can't see any major wear, just a couple of normal scuffs. The brass has some light patina, commensurate with age. We'd rate the condition of this piece being close to excellent.
This is one of the largest wall clocks we've had in stock, measuring approx 64cm (25") in diameter.
