Waechtersbach was founded in 1832 by the Prince Adolf of Ysenburg and Büdingen of Isenburg-Wachtersbach.
The company have produced a number of fun, bright patterns across their popular years, including well-known and highly sought-after 'Heart' pattern. Available in two design options - small hearts or big hearts - the simple white heart shape pops on the vibrant red backdrop.
A stunning ceramic handled serving platter. This stunning and rare piece features an illustration of two fabulous mid-century ladies enjoying the perks of a social life, complete with puppies and cigarettes (!!!)
This beauty is in great to excellent vintage condition, with only a small amount of surface wear. It measures approx 31cm in diameter.
We've not been able to identify the pattern name, but it does have decoration #6263 on the reverse side.
Truly fab - we don't imagine this will be around for long.
