An incredible example of sommerso glass, made in Murano, Italy! This particular example was made by Oggetti Glass, designed (and signed on the base) by master glass-maker Luigi Onesto.
We're truly lucky to have one of his famous perfume bottles up for grabs. These iconic pieces are highly collectible and make a stunning addition to any glass true collection.
Measuring a whopping 34cm (13.5") tall, 19cm wide and 6.5cm deep, this perfume bottle certainly has a wow factor to it, we think you'd agree.
This example has magenta, purple and cranberry pink submerged in the clear glass. As mentioned above, it is also signed on the base by Luigi himself. Additionally it still retains the Oggetti plastic label.
It's in great to excellent vintage condition with little surface wear. No chips, no cracks and no major scratches. There are a couple small nicks on the base on one side, small and can be just felt. Incredible condition overall, considering the weight of the piece - it comes in at about 5kg!
An extraordinary piece for any true collector of vintage Murano glass, vintage perfume bottles, or someone looking for that special hero piece for a display.
