The original Italian Empoli decanters/bottles really are the epitome of the retro era - almost every household across the 1960s/70s had one (or more!) or these on display!
Today we've got one of the most spectacular decanters/bottles up for grabs; a cased (white glass internally) decanter/bottle in butterscotch. This exceptional and RARE beauty is an absolute sight to behold.
This stunning example of Italian glass measures 64.5cm (25.5") in height. Both pieces - the bottle and stopper - are in great to excellent vintage condition, with the only wear to mention (if you'd call it that) is a firing line internal to the stopper. It is not a crack as you can see the colouring internal to the line from the manufacturing process.
It is chip and crack free and we can't see any other flaws to mention. There are some bubbles in the glass, which is not unusual, from manufacturing also.
