Schmid Kreglinger are a Japanese company, (part of Schmid International) specialising in porcelain dinnerware. They produced the 1960s popular fine art porcelain series Kelco designed by Lagardo Tackett, especially made for the European, British and American Western Markets.
The bright sets either featured a bold opaque colour with a contrasting coloured rim, or an abstract or geometric design with the primary colour reflective on the matching saucer.
