Schmid Kreglinger (Japan) 'Kelco' Cups and Saucers (set x3) | Designed by Lagardo Tackett
Schmid Kreglinger are a Japanese company, (part of Schmid International) specialising in porcelain dinnerware. They produced the 1960s popular fine art porcelain series Kelco designed by Lagardo Tackett, especially made for the European, British and American Western Markets.
The bright sets either featured a bold opaque colour with a contrasting coloured rim, or an abstract or geometric design with the primary colour reflective on the matching saucer.
Matt mustard yellow with olive green trim, cup and saucer set.
Cup - approx 4.5cm tall, 8cm wide (not including handle)
Saucer - 13cm diameter
All pieces are in great to excellent vintage condition, with the only bit of wear that we can see is some scuffing on the saucers (however light).
