Royal Copenhagen was founded as the Royal Danish Porcelain Factory in 1775 and has ever since manufactured porcelain art with profound respect for the tradition and noble craftsmanship.
The collectibles range are particularly coveted and the Christmas plates, teacups and saucers with the evocative motifs long ago became synonymous with royal Danish porcelain.
The first plate was issued in 1908 and among the best known motifs is the kneeling angel on the plate from 1945.
