Alfares de Ponte Sampaio, better known as the brand Pontesa, launched as a company in 1961 in Vigo, Spain.

They went on the be the largest Spanish producer of porcelain ceramics and at one stage had over 30 stores across the country and employed more than 5,000 workers.

Across the 1960s and 1970s they produced a wonderful range of floral and abstract designs relevant to both eras.


A fabulous design of orange, lilac and purple flowers.

We two sets of bread and butter plates available - both a set of four. All are in great to excellent vintage condition with very little surface wear. A couple have some light crazing, but very light. No chips or cracks.

Measuring approx 17.5cm diameter.
