An incredible vintage starburst wall clock, made by Metamec in Norfolk, England in the 1960s.
This particular piece features faux wood and metal starburst/sunburst peaks, with a brass-coloured clock face. The numbers and hands appear in black and brass.
The mechanism has been replaced by our local and reputable clock repairer with a new Quartz movement.
Condition wise this piece is in excellent condition, with only a small amount of surface wear. Some light dents in the faux wood spikes and some patina on the external brass spikes, as per the pictures.
It measures approx 45cm (17.5") in diameter overall.
