Kalmar Ceramics were produced by migrants Julius and Irene Kalmar of Hungary from the early 1950's to mid 1960's. Their first factory was at Lakemba, NSW and they later moved to Punchbowl.

They are renowned for their stunning lustreware pieces - various vases and ornaments with a stunning coloured, lustre finish.

THIS LISTING:

An absolutely stunning set of three ceramic flying ducks / mallards.

This rare set is in almost perfect condition. The colours are bright and there is no major wear - the only flaw we can find is a small chip on the beak of one duck, which has been repaired. It is not visible when these are on display!

Such an incredible set and definitely hard to find - especially all three.

Measuring approx 28cm, 24cm and 21cm long each.

Marked AACP (Australian Art Ceramic Products) on the reverse; the official company name of Kalmar Ceramics.

We don't expect these to be around for long!
