JAJ were the producers of PYREX bowls and bakeware in England from 1922 until the plant (in Sunderland, UK) closed in 2007. Items were back-stamped JAJ (short for James A Jobling) until the mid-1970s, which is when Corning purchased the company and items started production with the PYREX ENGLAND back-stamp.

THIS LISTING:
JAJ PYREX 'Iris' in Red, #509 Round Casserole
This rare piece is in great to excellent vintage condition with no major wear that we can see. The pattern is bright and shiny and free from any major wear. There are a couple spots of pattern loss in the colour, but minor. Includes a lid.
The Iris patter, sometimes known as Medallion, was produced exclusively for the European market and as such, is much harder to find.
