Burgess Chintz was named after one of the Burgess & Leigh founders Mr Frederick Rathbone Burgess. The pattern, dating from the early 1900s, features a delicate mosaic of wild geranium blossoms and leaves. Printed in its own unique colour known as 'Burgess Blue' this design brings the British countryside home.

Both of these rare pieces are in great to excellent vintage condition. There is a small amount of crazing on the pitcher, mainly seen on the base in and internally, but minimal.
