Founded in 1825, the Bormioli Rocco company is today divided into two business areas, Tableware and Glass block, with 3 production plants, 2 decoration studios, 6 commercial branches and 6 single-brand stores.
Bormioli Rocco exports its products to more than 100 countries in the world and represents one of the most important glassworks on the international scene.
In the early 1960s the first machines were built to create the tempered glass products - Bormioli produced a range of tempered glass products successfully across this period, through to the 1970s, where production of glass was featured in the colours of amber, green and clear glass
