Bay Keramik was started by Eduard Bay in 1933 and stopped major art pottery production in 1971. They were one of the top early companies with decors such as Florenz (1955), Rheims (1960) and Ravenna (1961). They continued to make outstanding items through the 1960s, until their production ceased in 1971.

THIS LISTING:

A lovely, tall ceramic vase, model #940-30. It features a cubed design with fish in its relief, finished in a matt blue glaze.

Overall it's in great vintage condition. There is one small chip towards the base, mainly visible from the underside rather than the side. Other than that we can't see any major wear, just a couple of the normal scuffs.

Measuring approx 30cm tall.
