Tajima Glass (Japan) Art Glass 9" Vase

Tajima Glass was founded in 1956 in Tokyo, Japan, by Matsutaro Tatsuta. While the company is still in operation today, during the mid-century art glass production period they produced a number of pieces in a variety of shapes, sizes, textures and colours.

Glass objects made by the company have been found with a number of different paper and/or foil labels. Some include Tajima's signature logo (which is a stylised TG), with other labels attributed to various import companies such as OTK Glass or Shoei Glass.
