A fabulous ceramic table lamp in a fabulous decor - this lamp set up uses a vintage West German ceramic lamp base, and retains its original vintage shade.
The lamp base is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or any other flaws to mention. Please note the lamp shade may have some inconsistencies in the fabric due to its age, being vintage.
It measures a huge 90cm (35.5") tall including the shade.
To purchase this lamp set you have two options in terms of lighting; please read carefully and choose your preferred option via the drop-down menu.
The original light fixture in this lamp set up allows you to have a light bulb under the shade (as per normal), as well as a light bulb internal to the ceramic base, which allows light to come through the holes you can see around the belly of the lamp. The result provides a wonderful, additional glow.
The light that fits into the ceramic base requires a low wattage bulb in order to work safely, minimising risks to the internal cabling.
This lamp set up has not been rewired, but has an Australian electrical plug that works. This allows both bulb options.
If you would prefer to not have the option of both bulbs, would like to have the standard light bulb in action and would prefer to have the cabling rewired to meet Australian electrical standards, we can do so.
Please note this request is irreversible so once you remove the option for the smaller, second light bulb it cannot be added again.
Options:
- Retain lamp wiring as is, allowing both bulbs to be used.
- Request rewiring of lamp, removing the option for second bulb to work (at no extra charge).
