Sklarna Chřibská (Czechoslovakia) Art Glass Vase | Model 316/4/39, Designed by Josef Hospodka
An incredible example of beautiful art glass, made in Chřibská, Czechoslovakia.
Measuring a massive 39cm tall and 17.5cm wide, this beautiful and tall vase certainly has a wow factor to it.
This particular piece - in a gorgeous cranberry pink with lime green and opal white tips, layered in the clear glass - was made by Sklarna Chřibská (aka Chřibská Glassworks) in Czechoslovakia.
This model was designed by head designer Josef Hospodka in the 1960s. Based on catalogue references, this was model 316/4/39.
It's in great to excellent vintage condition with no cracks or major scratches to mention - the only flaw to mention is a very small slither nibble on the base, roughly 2mm in length (it's very small!)
