The original Italian Empoli decanters/bottles really are the epitome of the retro era - almost every household across the 1960s/70s had one (or more!) or these on display!
Today we've got one of the most spectacular decanters/bottles up for grabs; a decanter/bottle in bright yellow which has a uranium/cadmium glow.
This exceptional and RARE beauty is an absolute sight to behold!
This stunning example of Italian glass measures 62cm (24.5") in height. Both pieces - the bottle and stopper - are in great to excellent vintage condition, with no major wear to mention. It is chip and crack free and we can't see any other flaws to mention. There are some bubbles in the glass, which is not unusual, from manufacturing. There is also remnants of the original paper/foil label from the exporter/importer.
The last few pictures show the glow under a UV light - note the orange glow towards the top of the decanter, and a yellow/chartreuse glow towards the base.
