Sowerby (England) Art Deco 1930s Dressing Table Set, Green
What a stunning example of gorgeous depression era glass. This particular example was made by Sowerby, in England, and features their 'Butterfly' pattern.
We have a lovely dressing table set- in a gorgeous green; such a classic example of glass produced in the Art Deco era.
This art deco set dates back to pre WWII, circa 1930s.
Included in this spectacular set is five pieces - shaped tray, two candlestick holders, two trinket dishes - one with a lid, one without.
Overall this set is in great condition with only a small amount of wear that we can see. There are a couple rough edges to touch, mainly on the underside rims. It has some bubbles in the glass, as expected from manufacturing.
For a set which is just shy of 100 years old, that's pretty great.
