Åseda Glasbruk was a Swedish glass factory that operated in Åseda, Kronoberg County, between 1947 and 1977. It was incorporated in 1975 into the Royal Krona group, which went into liquidation in 1977.

The company's chief designer was Bo Borgstrom, who graduated from Stockholm's Swedish School of Arts and Crafts in 1951. Borgstrom was widely acclaimed as a ceramics artist before joining Åseda in 1961.

A fabulous set of six (6) footed dessert bowls, in a gorgeous red.

These fabulous pieces of Swedish glass history are all in excellent vintage condition, with very little surface wear. No chips or cracks at all.

A really lovely shape, which could also be used as an exquisite champagne coupe glass - if you wanted to take your party hosting skills to the next level!

Each glass measures approx 8cm tall x 10.5cm diameter.

Quite a rare find, and even more special being able to present a full set of six in such a stunning colour.
